About Deepcut

Last updated: 6 November 2026

Deepcut is a free website that helps you find long, substantial YouTube videos: conference talks, lectures, science and engineering explainers and documentaries. Everything you see, including titles, thumbnails, descriptions and comments, comes from YouTube.

How videos are chosen

Nobody at Deepcut picks or reviews the videos, and Deepcut does not rate quality. The lists are built automatically from YouTube's own data.

Appearing on Deepcut is not an endorsement by Deepcut or YouTube, and it does not mean a video is accurate, safe or suitable for you.

YouTube

Deepcut uses YouTube API Services. By using Deepcut you also agree to be bound by the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/t/terms" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">YouTube Terms of Service</a>. Google's data practices are described in the <a href="https://policies.google.com/privacy" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Google Privacy Policy</a>. Deepcut is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

Accessibility

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. Deepcut works with a keyboard and screen readers and respects your light or dark setting and reduced-motion preference. We have not had an independent audit, so some problems may remain. If something does not work for you, tell us and we will try to fix it. Contact: watchdeepcut@gmail.com

Copyright and removal requests

Deepcut does not host or copy videos. Thumbnails, descriptions, comments and the player come from YouTube and are shown as YouTube provides them. Comments are read-only and show the commenter's public YouTube name. If you own something shown here, use YouTube's own tools to change or remove it, which Deepcut will then follow. You can also email us the link and we will remove it from Deepcut promptly. Contact: watchdeepcut@gmail.com
