Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

This policy explains what Deepcut does with information when you use the website. In short: Deepcut has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking cookies, and we keep no database of visitors.

Who is responsible

Deepcut is run by Swarit Chavan, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Contact: watchdeepcut@gmail.com

What is saved on your device

Deepcut saves the following in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

You can delete all of it at any time with "Clear my saved data" in Settings, or by clearing site data in your browser.

What our server handles

Deepcut's server sits between your browser and YouTube so that our YouTube API key stays secret. When you use the site, the server receives your request, including your IP address and browser details, as any web server does.

What other services receive when you use Deepcut

Your browser connects directly to the services below, so each can see your IP address and basic browser details, and each has its own privacy policy.

YouTube API Services

Deepcut uses YouTube API Services. By using Deepcut you agree to be bound by the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/t/terms" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">YouTube Terms of Service</a>. How Google handles information is described in the <a href="https://policies.google.com/privacy" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Google Privacy Policy</a>. You can review and revoke access that other apps hold to your Google account in the <a href="https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Google security settings</a>. Deepcut does not ask you to sign in to Google and has no access to your Google account.

Comments shown from YouTube

Deepcut shows public YouTube comments, read-only, with the commenter's public name. They are fetched live from YouTube and are not stored by Deepcut beyond the short cache described above. To change or remove a comment, use YouTube. If you want it removed from Deepcut's cache sooner, email us with the link. Contact: watchdeepcut@gmail.com

Your rights

We do not keep personal data about visitors, so there is usually nothing to access or delete beyond what is saved on your own device, which you control. You can still contact us to ask what we hold, to correct or delete anything, or to make a complaint. We will reply within a reasonable time.

If you are in India, you have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, including to access, correct and erase personal data and to have grievances addressed. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR, including to complain to your local data protection authority. Grievance contact: Swarit Chavan, watchdeepcut@gmail.com.

Children

Deepcut is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone. Videos and comments on YouTube may not be suitable for children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If we ever add accounts, analytics or other data collection, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
